RARELY DOES an R&B act cause any controversy or speculation prior to making a British tour. But the one exception in recent years is Funkadelic, an act comprising two acts – the vocal Parliaments and the instrumental Funkadelic – and one of the most entertaining units to make it over here in quite a while.
