RY COODER is a familiar name to groups like the Rolling Stones and Crosby, Stills and Nash who regularly utilised — I sometimes wonder whether plagiarised might be a better word — the use of this talented guitarist who specialises in 'bottleneck' technique and was generally regarded as THE session man on the American West Coast.
