IT'S BEEN A TOUGH seven years for Bonnie Raitt since the release of her last studio album, Souls Alike. She lost both her parents, Broadway musical star John Raitt and pianist Marjorie Haydock, within months of each other, brother Steve (a sound engineer), and her best friend.
