Swing Out Sister: It's Better To Travel (Phonogram)

Caroline Sullivan, Melody Maker, 16 May 1987

Why do these loafer-shod avenging angels of music journalism expend so much energy on the writing of tortuous essays on the exponents of "New Pop" (eg. Swing Out Sister, Curiosity, Communards), reading profound significance into their smallest action and invariably conclude that New Pop groups are loathsome items?
