THE O'JAYS' success with 'Back Slabbers' has been one of the high spots for Soul of 1972. Hot on the heels of the hit single comes an excellent album, loaded with all the usual qualities of the Gamble-Huff production team. Vocally, the O'Jays have always been one of the finest groups but it is only with Gamble and Huff that they seem able to really bring out their best on record. It happened when they were all together at Neptune and is now repeated at Philadelphia International.
