Tom Robinson: Right On, Mister!
Dave Schulps, Trouser Press, June 1978
THE ABILITY TO walk into a room and make someone you've never met feel like they've known you for years is called 'charm.' The ability to charm thousands of people simultaneously is called 'charisma.' Tom Robinson possesses both. Having both had the chance to talk with him and watched the Tom Robinson Band bring the house down in front of several thousand wildly enthusiastic fans at London's Lyceum Theatre, I can vouch for it.
