Underworld: the Guildhall, Southampton

THERE WERE MORE grey-haired Disco Dads than fresh-faced Nu Ravers in evidence when Underworld began their first British tour in five years. Karl Hyde and Rick Smith are now 50 and 48 respectively, and much of their audience appears to be of similar vintage. Film soundtracks and side projects may have distracted them for half a decade, but age has not withered the duo's hyperactive performance.
