I WONDER just how many of those present at last Wednesday's NME free gig at the Marquee Club were aware that the evening's attraction, Alex Harvey, was one of this country's first musicians to successfully re adapt the sounds of Chicago's East Side, at a time when the Stones and the Yardbirds were still audition groups.
