POSSIBLY BECAUSE most major soul people only make one trip over here every year or every other year, it's true to say that most of us expect the very best possible performance from our favourites. Most times, we are not disappointed but, probably in total contradiction with everyone who saw him at the Rainbow, I found Bill Withers' concert generally a disappointment.
