WITH A voice akin to Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf and Shirley Bassey, yet with a distinctly goth-baroque slant, Galás is something of a unique entity. Especially when you consider she was also the subject of many of Henry Rollins' infamous diary entries (and is possibly the only lady he has any respect for).
