Frampton's Roots: His Career Spans Two Generations of Rock

PETER FRAMPTON'S musical career began at the tender age of eight. "My grandmother had a ukulele up in the attic for ages until one day I asked my father to show me a few chords," Peter reminisced. "The following Christmas, I got a guitar." As you well know, that was only the beginning. Among the many early groups was the Trubeats (he admits to inventing the name); they played Frampton compositions based on the Ventures' and Shadows' sounds.
