Long John Baldry: LJB sticks his neck out...

IF YOU really want to bore Long John Baldry, ask him if it's cold up there. His height is 6ft. 7½in., which makes him — and I pray nobody contradicts me — Britain's tallest pop singer. He must certainly win in Cuban heels: 6ft. 9in. In Germany they call him, quite simply, Der Lange — the Long One. Here we call him, quite simply, LJB.
