THE SWEET are a hit band in the U.S. today. They might have been in 1973. Their single, 'Little Willy', had been a smash and 'Blockbuster' was about to be, pending a U.S. tour. But just as the pop phenomenon was poised for the American onslaught, Sweet's singer Brian Connolly encountered a nearly disastrous fist in the night.
