BY THE END of side one, I found myself plastered spread-eagled to the ceiling, tongue and eyes bulging, my face frozen in a delirious grin. By the time side two trailed off, I'd calmed down a little bit and contented myself with running around the house in aimless circles, trying to think of all the people I wanted to call to tell that I'd just heard this... wondrous thing. It was five in the afternoon — rush hour — and nobody was home, so I sat down at the typewriter and composed my thoughts...
