Jethro Tull: Roots To Branches
Colin Harper, MOJO, October 1995
ONE CAN NEVER SPEAK with confidence for the entirety of Jethro Tull's following — and certainly not for the Ian-is-God element — but speaking as a long-time Tull fan who has desperately tried to enjoy the desperately-trying Catfish Rising (1992) and actually couldn't stomach parting with cash for the stodgy and unlovable Rock Island, it comes as a relief bordering on triumph to say that Roots To Branches is wonderful, quirky, vintage Tull of the highest order.
