Swans: The Burning Word

On their new album The Burning World the SWANS have discovered their volume control goes down as well as up and have left the harsh noise of their early life for a quieter, more melodic approach. EDWIN POUNCEY talks to lead Swan MICHAEL GIRA about this musical change, the problems of touring Europe and how he introduced the Stooges to Moroccan culture.
